I don’t know about you but I get waaaaaay more email and text messages than real snail mail. So when I get an actual card in the mail with actual handwriting on it, it’s really special. I just had a birthday and it cheers me up so much to know people are thinking of me and take the time to write a personal message in a card. Valentine’s Day is right around the bend and Hallmark has so many beautiful cards, something perfect for everyone you want to remember: funny, sentimental, sweet, and cheeky.

This year Hallmark is encouraging us to #PutYourHeartToPaper and take the time to write a thoughtful, handwritten message that your loved one can keep and treasure always. They have some fantastic inspiration for us, both with videos that will warm your heart (grab your tissues, guys) and some ideas on how to get started with your written message. This couple, Kari and Gareth, made me get all misty eyed. They’re adorable.
Kari & Gareth: Hallmark #PutYourHeartToPaper
Aren’t they sweet? You can find more couples to cry over on the Hallmark Holiday site. And if writing your feelings on paper isn’t your forte (you’re not alone by a long shot!) then get some tips there, too. Trust me, it will be worth it in the end when your loved one has something tangible to hold onto that expresses how you feel.
Hallmark is generously offering one of my readers a variety pack of Valentine’s Day cards too! This is a flash giveaway with fingers crossed that we can get them to you in time for Valentine’s Day. It will end at 11:59pm ET on Monday February 9, 2015 and is only available to readers in the US, ages 18+.
Good luck and Happy Valentine’s Day!
