I adored Strawberry Shortcake as a kid. I still have a bunch of my old little figurines and the carrying case they are stored in. The Purple Pieman was my favorite! He was the bad guy but his little figurine smelled like berries and I loved it! I really can’t believe that Strawberry Shortcake is 35 years old. So cool that kids today are enjoying her as much as I did when I was little.

This is a big year for Strawberry Shortcake and on Saturday June 20 the little redhead with the big personality is about to launch the fourth season of “Strawberry Shortcake’s Berry Bitty Adventures” on Discovery Family Channel. Season four introduces four new characters—twins Sweet and Sour Grapes, Tea Time Turtle and Apple Dumplin’—in 13 thirty-minute episodes that deliver positive messages of friendship, self-esteem and honesty.

To celebrate we were sent a fun batch of Strawberry Shortcake goodies. My daughter loves this little lunch box but I have a feeling it’s going to be used as a purse. 😉

The Berry Friends Forever DVD was a hit with both kids. I love the positive messages and lack of snark (why do all the kids’ shows have so much snark these days?!) in this show. Take a look at some of the images from the new season!

These girls are adorable! Mark your calendars for Saturday June 20 to catch the first episode of season 4 on Discovery Family Channel.

Celebrate with us! I’ve got a delicious giveaway: a Strawberry Shortcake or Lemon Meringue doll, Strawberry Shortcake lunch box, DIY lip gloss kit, a set of tea cups and the DVD “Jammin with Cherry Jam” from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment. This giveaway is open to US residents ages 18+ and will run from June 9 to June 18, 2015, ending at 11:59pm ET.
Good luck!

My girls JUST got into Strawberry Shortcake. I used to own a doll of my own so I would have to say she is my favorite.

Strawberry, of course! Although they all smell so good – at least the figurines I had as a kid did 🙂
