Dinnertime is usually crazy time in my house and it’s about to get crazier with spring sports around the corner. I have a few meals that are my go-tos when I’m short on time, like Taco Tuesday and many weeks, per my son’s request, we do Spaghetti Monday!

Krusteaz makes delicious and EASY mixes that make breakfast a snap, and breakfast for dinner is one of our favorites. So we’re joining them in starting a new tradition: Wednesday is breakfast for dinner night! Anything to make meal planning easier is a win for me. Did you know:
Coinciding with National Hot Breakfast Month in February and to make sure everyone can regularly enjoy both the simplicity and fun of breakfast for dinner, Krusteaz has officially named every Wednesday Night “Breakfast Night.” This comes after the launch of the Krusteaz #BreakfastNight in September, National Breakfast Month!
In a national survey, Krusteaz found that nine out of ten (91 percent) Americans say they eat breakfast for dinner, with 56 percent doing so once a month or more often. For families, the trend is even more prevalent as 67 percent of respondents with children in the household say they have breakfast for dinner once a month or more.
A variety of factors contribute to the rising popularity of breakfast for dinner, with the main appeal being ease of preparation versus a traditional dinner meal (43 percent). For families especially, it’s also “a fun way to break up the monotony of weekly dinner night” cited by 44 percent.

And Krusteaz makes so many great options the entire family is sure to love:
- Pancake & Waffle mixes
- Quick Breads
- Muffins
- More!
My kids love muffins. I happen to think they’re the perfect food because they work for any meal AND snacks. So the first thing they wanted me to make for our first Breakfast for Dinner night was the Chocolate Chip Muffin Mix. They were so quick and easy to make. And absolutely delicious!

But I will give you a quick tip: Hide them. If you make them ahead of time hide them because the kids will get into them after school and dinner will end up happening around 3pm. 😉 Serve with some fruit and milk and it’s a hit!
The next week we made the pancakes for Wednesday night breakfast and they were really good. Again, so easy to make. I love that this tradition takes the stress out of dinnertime. So join in and give yourselves a break, moms. A tasty break!
Be sure to follow along on Facebook and Twitter to stay up to speed with the latest products from Krusteaz. I’m loving their drool-worthy Instagram and Pinterest feeds, too!
Krusteaz is generously offering one of my readers a Breakfast Night Prize Pack that includes Krusteaz mixes and coupons! Woohoo! This giveaway is open to US residents ages 18+ only and will end at 11:59pm ET on March 25, 2015.
Good luck!
