I’m always on the hunt for a good sippy cup. It’s hard to find one that doesn’t leak AND the kids like. So I was really looking forward to trying out Tommee Tippee’s Explora Easiflow Straw Cup.
The Tommee Tippee Explora Easiflow Straw Cup is BPA-free, holds 9 ounces of liquid and is insulated. My kids are constantly misplacing their cups, so insulation is important and helps to prevent having to dump everything out when I find it an hour later. It’s also great in the summertime to keep their drinks cooler much longer. The base of the cup is a little larger than most and won’t fit in standard cup holders. And the pop up lid can be hard to open at times. My 3 year-old can’t do it on her own, which could be a positive or a negative. But I think after more use, the lid will open and close much easier. A downside to these cups is all of the pieces. They can be cumbersome to take apart and put together until you get the hang of it, but once you do, it’s not bad at all. And IT’S ALL WORTH IT…because these cups DO NOT LEAK. It’s important to read all the instructions or watch this helpful video that shows exactly how to take them apart and put them back together.
We had some issues the first couple times we used them because of user error…and ended up with a few messes. But when used correctly, these cups do not leak at all!! It’s rare to find a straw cup that you can shake upside down (and throw on the floor!) and not a drop comes out. We’ve tried a ton and they all make a mess. Not this cup! This cup is a new favorite! They’re also very affordable. Look for them at your favorite retailer or shop for them on Amazon!
