It’s Monday! Time to meet a new Humane League of Lancaster County Pet of the Week! This week they’re introducing us to Avon, a sweet girl looking for her forever home.
Mellow and affectionate Avon is a pretty three-year-old lady who seems shy at first meeting, but with a gentle touch she will quickly shed her insecurities and melt in your embrace. Avon is most at home in a comfy lap. Start petting her soft orange fur and Avon will nuzzle into your hand and roll onto her back to show her gratitude for the attention. When she’s not snuggling with her humans, Avon can be found basking in a patch of sunshine or nestled into a cozy corner. This gentle kitty would love to join a laid-back family with whom she can enjoy lots of quiet moments. Need a friend to share your morning coffee with? Or a couch buddy who is sure to like all your favorite TV shows? Avon is ready to be that companion for you!
