I have a new Humane League of Lancaster County Pet of the Week! I think my dog, Sam, would be totally jealous if he knew how much I wanted to bring Dexter home. We are full here at the inn but I just love this pup and hope he finds his family soon!
Adorable Dexter is a shy, three-year-old toy fox terrier mix in need of a quiet and loving home. This tiny 12 pound boy takes his time to warming up to new people and situations, but once he does, you’ll find he is quite the charmer! Dexter is a great lap buddy and enjoys quality nap time, but he’s also playful and active. He would love to join in on your daily walk, sporting a cute sweater, and he really likes to play with his squeaky toys. Dexter’s gentle personality would be a perfect fit for an adult home where he can adjust to his new home at his own pace. While he has enjoyed the company of a few other dogs in the past, mostly ones closer to his own size, Dexter requests a home without cats.
