I’ve missed a week or two at CVS with the craziness of summer but I was excited after so many coupon inserts in last weekend’s paper to get out there and rock some deals. I had a great trip tonight! I split my shopping into two transactions.
Here are the deals I worked:
Transaction 1:
Spend $20 on select P&G products, get $5 in ECB
Buy 2 Bounty Paper Towels 12 rolls, $19.98 ($9.99 each)
Subtotal for this offer: $19.98 (that’s close enough to hit the mark and trigger the ECB)
Buy 1 Starbucks Iced Coffee, $1.50, earn $1.50 in ECB
Buy 2 Oral B Cross Action Power Toothbrush, $11.98 (5.99 each), earn $2 in ECB on each one for $4 ECB total
Buy 2 Softscrub, $8.78 (4.39 each)
Subtotal for Transaction #1 = $42.24
Use one $1/2 Bounty Paper Towels coupons (look where I found these, but I also had one from inside a specially market pkg. of Charmin)
Use two $3/1 Oral B Adult Power Toothbrush (7/28 PG)
Use one $2.50 off $10 worth of Oral Care Products (printed from the magic coupon kiosk)
Use two Softscrub free product coupons (won these in a giveaway – yes, I enter them – and they expired today!)
Use $16 in ECB from my last transaction
Use $3 in ECB from this sweet bonus
Total = $4.96, earn $10.50 in ECB
Transaction #2
Buy 1 Stayfree Pads, $2.99, earn $1 ECB
Spend $15 on select Dove products, earn $5 ECB
Buy 3 Dove Men + Care Body Wash, $12
Buy 1 Dove Shampoo, $3
Subtotal for Transaction #2 = $17.99
Use one $1/1 Stayfree product (7/28 SS)
Use three $1/1 Dove Men+ Care Body Wash (7/28 RP)
Use one $1/1 Dove Shampoo or Conditioner (7/28 RP)
Use the $10.50 in ECB I earned in Transaction #1
Total = $2.49, earn $6 in ECB for next week!
So in total I spent $7.45 out of pocket for $86.38 worth of products.
That’s a 91% savings, only $.62 per item for these 12 goodies, and I left with $6 in ECB to spend next week! Can’t beat that. That’s why I love shopping at CVS!
