Local Lancaster Readers: Costume Swap Is TOMORROW! {10/8/11}

This post may contain affiliate links. View my disclosure policy for details.

October 7, 2011

Tomorrow, Saturday October 8, 2011 is swap day for of the Costume Swap here in Lancaster, PA! Thanks to Macaroni Kid Lancaster and Kindermusik Studio for bringing this national frugal and green event to our area.

If you participated in the drop off event last weekend, you should have your ticket to pick up a ‘new’ costume tomorrow at Kindermusik in Landisville from 10am to 2pm. Bring your kids to play in the studio while you swap! (It’s in the Hempfield Shopping Center, 301 Main Street.)

It’s Not Too Late To Participate!
If you missed the drop-off date last weekend you’re in luck!  A last minute drop-off time has been added tomorrow morning from 9-10am at Kindermusik. You still have time to participate!  Just drop your costume off between 9am and 10am, then stay for the swap!

Participate Even If You Don’t Have a Costume to Swap!

Macaroni Kid Lancaster and Kindermusik of Lancaster have gone above and beyond to make this event available to everyone.  Any extra costumes (extras were donated by swappers and by the two awesome sponsors) will be available for purchase for a $5 donation from 1pm to 2pm.  These donations will be passed on to Holiday Hope, a local non-profit dedicated to providing Christmas to needy families who may not otherwise have one.  AWESOME.

And You Could Win a Kindermusik Class!
Each costume donated earns you one chance to win the raffle for a FREE Kindermusik class! How fun!  (Don’t forget this awesome discount on a Kindermusik class is still available!)

Want to learn more?  Check out this news piece and meet the hosts of this event!

This is a great way to save money and help our environment by recycling costumes!  Don’t miss it!
