We first told you about Couponing for Community a couple weeks ago and now it’s here! Couponing for Community is an event that is taking place this week, May 8 to May 14, 2011. We are all encouraged to use our couponing skills to give back to our communities by donating to a shelter, a food bank, or a family in need. The Postal Service does Stamp Out Hunger in May and this year it will be May 14. Call your local office to see if your carrier is participating. If so, they’ll pick up your donation when they deliver your mail. How easy is that?
This year Couponing for Community has a goal of donating 10,000 items this week! They have a Facebook page where our donations can be tracked and tallied. Pandora’s Deals is participating and we hope you’ll join in, too. Check out the details here, and be sure to add your donation to the tally on this Facebook page.
