Valentine’s Day S’mores

Share a sweet with your sweetie and make these Valentine's Day S'mores! They're so quick and easy to throw together and yummmm, melted chocolate and Peeps!

Valentine’s Day is one of the year’s best excuses to indulge your sweet tooth. Don’t mind if I do.  These Valentine’s Day S’mores are so quick and easy to make and the kids were thrilled to help me put them together, and I was even more thrilled that they could pretty much do it on their own.  I just had to man the oven.

Valentine's Day S'mores with Peeps

Yum, yum, and more yum. And sticky gooey goodness right there on a plate for your enjoyment.  Now *that* is what I call sweet.         😉

Ingredients

  • Chocolate Graham Crackers
  • Hershey's Milk Chocolate Bars
  • Red and White Heart Peeps

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Break one graham cracker in half so you have two equal-sized squares.

Place one quarter (3 squares) of a chocolate bar on one side of the graham cracker

Place one Peep on top of the chocolate.

Place the second graham cracker square on top to make a sandwich.

Repeat with as many s’mores as you want to make! I got six on one baking sheet.

Put them in the oven and heat for 4-5 minutes or until chocolate is melted.

Notes

I did try these in the microwave and it wasn't what I'd call huge success. Peeps blow up like balloons when you microwave them. Still tasty, but a total mess. Line your baking sheet with aluminum foil and you'll have no clean up at all...except for the kids' faces!
