One of my absolutely favorite summertime foods is fresh pesto. I eat it on chicken, pasta, shrimp, pretty much anything. At my local nursery, I can get little basil plants for super cheap, and I grow a ton, make my own pesto, and then freeze it to use year-round. This is my recipe, but of course you can grab a jar at the grocery store, too. (Fresh is best, though! Try it!)
