I buy organic food and ‘green’ products for my family when I can, but let’s be honest: they can be pricey. This is why I’m so glad that GIANT Food Stores has expanded their Nature’s Promise line to make organics and safer products more affordable for all families. Studies show that most families are like ours, buying more organics at least some of the time. It’s nice to be able to do that without breaking the budget.
You might already be somewhat familiar with Nature’s Promise. I know in my family we’ve always bought this milk from GIANT and a few other common products. But, they now have over 800 Nature’s Promise products available in stores, and with a spiffy new packaging you’re going to notice it in every aisle which opens up so many more opportunities for families to use more organics and less chemicals in their homes.
Nature’s Promise is a safe line I can look for in every aisle, not just food products. If you think about how many chemicals are in our lives on a daily basis it’s kind of scary. Nature’s Promise is a great choice for detergent, household cleaning products, healthy and beauty items, and more.
Some of the Nature’s Promise products are labeled ‘Free-from’ and it’s clearly visible on the packaging what is NOT found in those products: artificial colors, harmful chemicals, toxins, etc. I really like that GIANT is making it so easy to know exactly what you’re buying (and what you’re not buying!).
All of these products above work great, too. I thinks sometimes people wonder if the more gentle products work as well, but they really do the job and I can feel good about using them.
If you know me you know I’m a peanut butter fanatic so I was really excited to try this Nature’s Promise Peanut Butter for the first time. I think I’m in love! I’m actually going to switch my brand and start buying this regularly. There are two ingredients in this jar: organic peanuts and sea salt. It’s really smooth, just the way I like it, and just tastes great without a bunch of transfats or added sugar.
Using just a few of the ingredients that GIANT sent me to sample from the Nature’s Promise line, I whipped up these delicious snacks, Organic Peanut Butter Granola Bites. Perfect for a snack any time of the day, and I’ve been popping a few for breakfast when I’m too rushed to make much of anything. They’re healthy, filling, and delicious!
These Organic Peanut Butter Granola Bites Recipe are so easy to make and a perfect snack or breakfast on-the-go! Place the peanut butter and agave in a large bowl and combine well with a spoon. Fold in the granola until well mixed and coated with the peanut butter mixture. Add the milk and stir again. Refrigerate for about an hour to firm up the mixture. After an hour or so, remove from refrigerator and make your bites. These won't really roll into balls, so just take a spoonful (you can size them how you'd like but smaller is better, about an inch in diameter) and squeeze them into little snack sized pieces.Organic Peanut Butter Granola Bites Recipe
