January 30, 2023

Trying to get more protein in a way that makes it easy to incorporate into your diet, and tastes great? Naked Bake and Naked Cake are the solution. Delicious treats, just add water!

This post is in partnership with Naked Nutrition. All opinions expressed are my own. You can read my full Disclosure Policy here.

I know I don’t get enough protein in my diet, leaving me hangry half the time. This is something I’ve been trying to be more aware of and eat accordingly, and Naked Nutrition is making it easy to do better!

Naked Nutrition makes a variety of protein-packed products, that contain as few ingredients as possible so you know exactly what you’re putting into your body.

Their products contain no artificial colors, flavors, or sweeteners.

Now listen, I am not trying to go hard as a weightlifter. But I would like to have more energy, lose a few pounds, and generally eat healthier.

Whatever your health goals, Naked Nutrition has products designed to help you meet them.

In addition to knowing I need more protein in my diet, I also know I like me some baked goods. If you can combine the two, win-win.

The Naked Cake baking mix for pancakes is right up my alley. The kids got my husband one of these single waffle makers for Christmas, and I decided to try that instead of making pancakes.

My first thought: There is no way you just add water to this protein mix and it turns into waffles. I was deliciously wrong. It is actually just that simple.

The ‘recipes’ are on the back of the jar, and I literally just mixed water and the dry mix, poured it onto the hot waffle iron, and within 1 minute, I had a protein-packed breakfast.

These Naked Cake waffles fluffed up beautifully. It took me a few tries to get the right amount of batter in the waffle maker, but as far as the texture, they are exactly the same as any other waffle.

The flavor is so good, too. It doesn’t have an artificial sweetener taste (because there are none!), and only has 5g of sugar per serving, and 22g of protein. Great flavor, texture, and they fill you up!

I ate them plain just like this, but they’d be great topped with berries or a drizzle of almond butter.

Naked Bake is another Naked Nutrition mix that can be used to make banana bread. Once again, just add water! I cannot believe how simple this is.

I’ve got two teenagers that are both athletes, and making mini muffins with Naked Bake was the perfect little snack for all of us.

Follow the directions on the bake of the jar to make muffins, and bake for about 10 minutes (spray the mini muffin tin first). SO EASY, and they fluffed up perfectly!

I topped a couple of the minis with some all-natural peanut butter and a banana slice. This was a tasty, filling bite.

Naked Nutrition baking mixes are a perfect solution for anyone that wants more protein in their diet: They are delicious, so easy to make, and have the best ingredients to boost energy without any of the junk.

They are versatile, too. Use them to make pancakes, waffles, muffins, breads, and throw a scoop in your smoothie, too.

Sometimes eating well, and particularly getting more protein in your diet, feels like a lot of work. Planning, shopping, pots and pans, etc.

This is simple. You mix the powder with water, cook it, and DONE.

Check out the Naked Nutrition products on their website. They have a great variety of protein-packed products, including some new cookies!
