My family loves to go on an adventure together. With the money we have to spend on fun stuff all four of us prefer to DO something fun as a family as opposed to buying something. The good times and memories last much longer than a new toy! So I was really excited to discover these books, Kids Love Travel. We were sent the Kids Love Pennsylvania book to check out and I found some great new attractions near us that we’ve never been to!
These books are really easy to navigate. In the front of the book you’ll find the chapters listed, broken down by area of the state and there’s a corresponding map so you know right where to look to find what’s closest to you. There’s also a breakdown by town so you can search that way also. I love the tips they include in the beginning to getting the most bang for your buck when you visit some of these attractions and general tips for day trips, too.
There are books available for each state and some extras soon, like attractions along major roadways. Can you imagine the time this saves Googling?! Everything is already researched for you. The listing for each attraction includes all the info you’d want: Address, current pricing, phone number, website, main exhibits, and a great description. Our book of PA is going to be a lifesaver over the summer when we’re trying to stay occupied.
I sat down with the kids and looked at the listings in our general area and we highlighted a bunch that we want to go check out in the coming months. Day trips and weekend getaways are awesome and a generally inexpensive way to give your kids new experiences, expose them to new learning opportunities, and just have FUN together! Now you can gather all your ideas for these kids of adventures in one place – with no hours-long Internet search on your part!
Find the Kids Love Travel book for your state or the ones you’ll be visiting soon. Their books are also available on Amazon and many of them come in a Kindle format (yay!). Then be sure to follow Kids Love Travel on Facebook and Twitter. So many great ideas for family fun this summer and all year round!
Kids Love Travel is generously offering one of my readers a Kids Love Travel book of their choice! This giveaway will end on May 12, 2014. You can enter to win [HERE].
