Hi Nigel! Thanks for your comment! I would definitely consider going back. If you’re a camping-type person you’ll definitely love the Hershey Camping Resort. I appreciated the modern comforts of the cabins (to kind of ease myself into it!). I do think that summer or fall is probably the best time to go. They have an outdoor pool which you can only enjoy over the summer, and there’s a playground and a creek. Some fun things to enjoy that we couldn’t really take advantage of when it was so cold and got dark so early, so keep that in mind. And I would suggest planning for at least a 2-night stay since you do have to bring your own linens and other items (dish soap, etc – I listed this all in the post). It’s nice to not have to unload it all and then pack it right back up less than 24 hours later. Hope that helps! Enjoy your stay if you go!
