After our canoe tipped over, we gathered everything up and decided it was best for the baby to ride with grandma and grandpa. Their canoe tipped over, the baby was fine, his brother was screaming the canoe was a death trap. Some young men helped them right the canoe and gave up a sweatshirt to keep the baby warm. My husband and I were so far behind because we got ran into and tipped again. That was the last time we’ve gone canoeing. Thankfully we still love to camp and recount this trip to all our friends and family around the campfire.
