I love getting creative with food. My kids get such a kick out of it and it’s so much fun to play in the kitchen. Combine some creative juices in the kitchen with our obsession with Driscoll’s berries and…holiday magic! I swear my kids could live on berries. So we hit the store, grabbed a bunch of blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, and raspberries (which did not make it onto the plate because we ate most of them before I turned on the stove!) and made these absolutely adorable Chocolate Crepe Reindeer. These couldn’t be easier and how cute?! Berry food art is my new favorite thing! Here’s the recipe.
This Chocolate Crepe Reindeer recipe is easy to make and oh so fun! In a medium sized bowl whisk together eggs, milk, and water. Add the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Finally add the melted butter and whisk until smooth. You can also make this in a blender or food processor to make sure it's not lumpy. I like to use my immersion blender for a few seconds to really mix it well. Heat a griddle or other flat pan over medium heat. Pour a ladle of batter (about 1/4 - 1/3 cup) into the middle of the pan. Pick it up by the handle and rotate your wrist to let the batter run to create a circle. Let it cook for about 2 minutes on each side. If the first one sticks you're doing it right. This happens to me EVERY time! But that one is for the cook. 🙂 Remove cooked crepe from the pan and create your reindeer! Fold the crepe in half and then in half again to create a triangle. Add a slice of strawberry for the nose and use blackberries to make antlers. A little dollop of whipped cream with blueberries on top make the eyes. If you want to get fancy, sift some powdered sugar over your plate before serving, or after you have the reindeer on the plate to look like snow!Chocolate Crepe Reindeer Recipe

Thank you Jen!! They’re so easy to make – almost like a pancake batter. I LOVE crepes!
