I’m catching up on the Humane League of Lancaster County Pet of the Week to share!
My daughter’s 4th grade class has a class pet that’s a turtle and I hear about how cool he is ALL the time! This guy would be such a fun pet!
“Hi! I’m Tidbit, an adult yellow eared slider who was left outside of the shelter in a box with my buddy, Pancake. Talk about chilly! As reptiles, we store warmth by sunning ourselves and we need a lamp to provide that heat. I enjoy sitting on the rock in my tank and basking in the light of my heat lamp. I also enjoy paddling about and munching on fresh lettuce. Please adopt us today (I’d love to go home with my BFF, Pancake) and provide us with some extra warmth – the warmth of your heart!”
If you’re interested in learning more about Tidbit you can visit the Humane League of Lancaster County during their adoption hours (be sure to check the website for hours), or email catadoptions@humaneleague.com.
