Great news for my local Pennsylvania readers or those within traveling distance of Hershey, PA. There will be a FREE Community Weekend at ZooAmerica coming up at the end of January. Visit ZooAmerica on Saturday or Sunday, January 24 and 25, 2015 from 10am to 4:30 pm for free admission. This offer is avaiblale to all guests and parking is free in the ZooAmerica lot, too.
We’ve been to ZooAmerica many times and always enjoy it. So many cool animals to see and it’s the perfect size zoo for little kids.

Community Weekend at ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park
ZooAmerica Has Hosted This Free Weekend for More Than 25 Years(Hershey, Pa. – January 20, 2015) – ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park in Hershey, PA is open daily, year round and the Zoo’s residents are very active in the colder weather which makes January a great month to visit.
To encourage people to come out of their homes and experience the beauty of winter at the Zoo, the staff is hosting a free Community Weekend on Saturday, January 24 and Sunday, January 25.
ZooAmerica offers free admission to all guests during this weekend from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on both days. Parking is available at both the Zoo’s parking lot and at the parking garage located on Chocolate Avenue.
Guests can walk through the 11-acre zoo and learn about more than 200 animals from five regions of North America: Southern Swamps, The Great Southwest, Eastern Woodlands, Big Sky Country and Northlands. To allow for some up close and personal time with the animals, ZooAmerica Naturalists will host an array of animal encounters throughout the day.
In addition, guests can learn how to become more involved in the Zoo and enroll in a ZooAmerica membership which offers a variety of benefits, including food and retail discounts, admission to exclusive events, and more.
