If your kids love dirt pudding with Oreos, they’ll love sand pudding too. It’s basically the same thing but you’ll use the vanilla cookies instead, and it looks just like sand! This Duck Pond Sand Pudding is the perfect Easter treat. Super easy to make, and delicious! Plus the kids can do most of the decorating themselves and get as creative as they’d like to setting up their beach scene.
I love it for a summer party too. Just hit the candy aisle in your local store and see what fun things they have to decorate with. We found these cute ducks, but Peeps would work as well. My little drink umbrellas are great for the beach, and I did make this once and used fruit strips, like Fruit-By-The-Foot, to create beach towels.
Duck Pond Sand Pudding Using Palmer Easter Candy Put all of the Oreos in a food processor and process until you have fine crumbs. Take half of those crumbs and press them evenly into the bottom of a 9"x13" glass dish. Save the other half for the topping. Mix the pudding mixes with the milk and set aside. In another bowl, mix the cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar. Combine the pudding with the cream cheese mixture. Finally stir in the Cool Whip. Pour pudding mixture evenly on top of cookies in the pan. Top with the remaining cookie crumbs to totally cover the pudding. Use the blue sprinkles to create the look of water on about 1/3 to 1/2 of the top of the dessert. Decorate with candy and sprinkles to create a pond or beach scene. Have fun with it!
