Who else is shopping for Christmas here and there? Some of you are already done, making me feel like a slacker. I still have quite a bit more to buy. While I’m shopping and the packages are rolling in I’m keeping a running list of gifts that need batteries. Then I’ll be hitting Walmart to grab all the Duracell batteries that I need to make Christmas morning go off without a hitch. Because if you want to see a Christmas morning meltdown, buy the kids some cool toys and electronics and forget the batteries. This spells disaster, parents. Do not go there.
Let me tell you about my computer mouse. Semi-unrelated but you’ll see where I’m going with this in a sec. So I am obviously on the computer a lot. It’s where I work and socialize with a lot of my friends online. My mouse is very heavily used. VERY. So I found a good deal on a big package of clearance Brand X batteries at the grocery store not long ago and grabbed them. I am going through them like mad. My mouse battery dies all the time! You know what? It’s not my mouse that’s being too heavily used. I’m using a bad battery! I shouldn’t have bought a brand name I didn’t know or trust. So now I stick with Duracell. They’ve been around forever and are reliable.
Duracell CopperTop All-Purpose alkaline batteries are not only dependable, they’re also long-lasting. You can take comfort in a 10-year guarantee in storage with Duralock Power Preserve Technology. They’re great for many of the devices you use on a daily basis in your home. And from storm season to medical needs to the holidays, Duracell is the #1 trusted battery brand of first responders, pharmacists and parents, so you know it’s a battery you can trust. CopperTop batteries are available in AA, AAA, C, D and 9V.
Grab a 16-pack of AA batteries (this is what we seem to need the most) to stock up. Or, get a 4-pack and use it as a stocking stuffer. I like to toss a pack or two into my husband’s stocking since he’s in charge of powering up Christmas morning. You can find all the Duracell batteries you need at Walmart and totally avoid a Christmas morning meltdown. Hey, that sounds like a great way to kick off the day’s celebration to me. 🙂
You can find Duracell on Twitter and Facebook, and Walmart on Twitter too.
